Am I the only one surprised by the marketing age range (18 - 34)? I would have thought that the modern mother would be somewhat older. I know a lot more women in their early 30's who are considering starting a family than women in their teens or 20s. Perhaps thats just a reflection of my age though .

That is why I was laughing at Wacky stating she signed up - she is a tab past 34

Yes, that age range certainly seems a bit 'off' by todays standards.

But I have a 9yo, which means I still have a child in the Parents magazine bracket. (I think they go up to 10.) (Mind you, I have two older kids, too.)

I'm surprised by that age range, too. I guess they're just fine-tuning their marketing. I know those parenting magazines are really intended for first-time parents; once you've been through it once, you can pretty much handle it.

I guess "Surviving Menopause Whilst Raising a Family" doesn't sound that glamorous for a magazine title.
