I was at a staples store this morning, with a copy of the offer, and they thought it was bogus. they said if the sale wasn't in the circular, it wasn't valid? any ideas if this offer is genuine?

If it sounds to good to be true, it probably isn't.

Did you check the web site? Might be there.

it's true!

I just ordered it on Staples.com. It just showed up today; the offer wasn't there before. The rebate covers everything except the tax, so the program cost me $10.80. Very cool. Thanks for posting it.

Not scam

I received a heads up directly from Quickbooks.

Keep in mind that you have to pay 199-40 instant rebate plus taxes.

The remaining rebate of 159 must be collected by mail in rebate.

I ordered on one line this morning and might stop at the store today to pick up a 2nd.

Unfortunately, this is a US only promotion. Seems odd since Intuit's headquarters is located in our city!

Got 2.

I managed to get two copies.

One online and one from the local store in the morning.

The 2nd Staples store I stopped at what out of stock.

Big negative though is the mail in rebate. I hate those as its not uncommon for businesses to kick them back for some lame reason. I am hoping Intuit is better than most.

nope, it is an old fashioned mail in rebate...less likely to get the money back
