Don't know why the deal is set up this way, but Oprah must have done something as there is a Oprah Winfrey show 2 piece chicken meal coupon at the site below.

I am always in for free food. Guess I am going out for lunch today.

I got a free meal yesterday. The deal ends May 19th, so essentially you can eat at KFC for free everyday until then. That is if you really love chicken.

Everytime I tried, I was unable to print the coupon. (Even after I attempted to download the coupon printer.)

I was able to print off 4 coupons. When I went yesterday to get my free meal, there were a lot of people in line that were not getting the meal as they had a bad coupon. The UPC code did not print correctly and so were not honored. A lot of people were mad. I think KFC did more damage than good with that promotion.

After my coupons are used and I have eaten my free chicken, I will likely go back to the regular chicken. I think it tastes better.

Long Lines - Nashville

I went last night to try to use my coupons and I was about the 10th person in line. We were told by the restaurant staff that they were out of the grilled chicken and it would be at least 45 minutes before any more would be ready. Of course... we left - still hungry.

I agree this promotion might do more harm than good for KFC. If they are going to allow so many to print these free coupons, how could they not realize there is going to be a huge rush of customers all coming in for a free meal? They should have been better prepared. Anytime someone says FREE.. everyone and their brother is going to try to get it.

We'll try again tonight.

The coupon is dead according to the KFC website.

It had a limited print time, but is good until 5-19 (except 5-10).

Heard on TV this afternoon that the response was overwhelming and the stores just plain ran out of chicken! The CEO (I think) will be on Oprah tomorrow.

What a mad house I went to 1 KFC where I got one but had to go to another one to get 2. They ran out of utensils in one place and were saying that the Chicken was just about done,

My son went to get his tonight and there was a sign that said they weren't taking the coupons. You could get a raincheck though and you had to fill out something to get the raincheck in the mail. I read on the KFC website that this is true for all locations.

I think their promotion backfired in every way. At our KFC the manager was refusing the coupons and people were ready to riot! I hate when businesses fail at their own promotions.

I had to go out to return a DVD and KFC is next door. I used another Coupon and they told me sorry we are out of Sides so it is 1 side per person. I get home and there is 2 tiny and I mean tiny wings in the box, no drum stick or the large breast or large wing.

I never go to KFC and most likely will not be going again as I am not a KFC fan and they did not do any thing that made me like the way they treated people.

If your cash register ticket is like mine, the back has the customer survey information. Log on and let them know how bad the service was, and the promotion failed. They want the store code at the top of the ticket.

I like dark meat, usually more flavor and moist. I got a flavorless dried out small breast and an okay wing.
