One KFC shut their doors all day yesterday. The other two in town are only honoring the coupons between 1:30 and 4 pm. Not very customer friendly...

My son went to get his tonight and there was a sign that said they weren't taking the coupons. You could get a raincheck though and you had to fill out something to get the raincheck in the mail. I read on the KFC website that this is true for all locations.

I went in and filed for my rainchecks. I understand they'll be throwing in a free drink along with the free meal when the rainchecks are sent out.

Remember a few weeks back when Denny's (I think) was giving out a free meal and people were lined up around the block all over the country? These national restaurants need to think about how quickly word spreads in this internet age and they need to have some controls on their coupons.

We had dinner there anyway, using our Entertainment book coupons. The place was very busy but not everyone was lining up for rainchecks so I guess it's normally busy on a Friday night.

It had a limited print time, but is good until 5-19 (except 5-10).

Printed out the coupon and went to get the chicken dinner. They said the offer had been canceled and they wouldn't honor the coupon. Shame on KFC!!

Just saw the KFC CEO on a commercial on ESPN apologizing and telling everyone the coupon was no good anymore but that you could get a rain check by jumping through hoops.

Don't these companies think these things through? NO. Yum brands is huge and has a lot of experience....like that makes any difference these days.

When El Pollo Loco had its free chicken give away they were ready, willing, and able. Sure you had to wait in line but everyone got their free meal as far as I could tell.
