Thanks everyone. I am finally getting back to normal. I'll need another couple days of rest before I run again. The good news is that I got my whole family up for the Great Aloha Run on President's day. They start training this Sunday at the Bandstand in Kapiolani Park. They will walk it. But, that's the way you get started.Comment

It's a great shirt. It's actually a runners shirt rather than a cotton shirt. It's bright yellow, so you can easily identify all of the finishers. Maybe in a couple of years. I need to get my time down to a decent level before attempting that race. I met a guy at Jimmy Buffets who ran over 30 marathons who said that the New York Marathon was by far the best of all the races he had run. He said the entire race was nothing but a BIG finish with millions of people cheering from beginning to end.Originally posted by HollyComment
