It went down around 9:30, maybe earlier - I was in Plainview at Fairway, perhaps you heard me?
Fortunately I still had text messaging, I could not possibly have done all the holiday grocery shopping on my own! -
I went to a Christmas Party and was counting on using my Blackberry as GPS (DH had my new Garmin in his car). could not get a signal...since I was not prepared, I missed an exit and had to drive 10 mins to turn around in dark winding roads...Of course by the time I arrived, my friends told me that Blackberry was having a nationwide blackout...again!!!Comment

Do you sleep with your BB? I do with my iPhone and read the forums and email when I wake up during the night. Do you call that being addicted?
If it is, I don't care because it does no harm and keeps my brain alert.

When it's not charging, I do leave it on the nightstand in "silent" mode - it's nice to be able to check my email before I get out of bed in the morning.

I have my BB set to turn off from 11pm - 5am. I can put it in the charger pod, the clock will dimly light and I can go to sleep without worry of incoming calls or emails waking me. Of course, the clock turns off too during those hours, but it turns on in plenty of time to wake me in the morning.Originally posted by Glitter BrunelloDonComment

My wife thinks my BB has actually been grafted on to my hand, it is so convenient for all of my email accounts, it really leaves you feeling helpless when down, we are a sad bunch
