  • Starbucks drops 10% off card

Sbucks drops their 10% off card. The card cost $25 per year but gave 10% off of each purchase. I guess more people signed up for it than the giant expected. They have a " free " card but it is really a joke as to what free is to the everyday coffee user.

The card is now free and provides additional benefits. A free drink after 15 uses, free refills on coffee when you're at the store, free extra shots, free flavor additions et.... Depending on how it's used the new benefits could be of greater value to Starbucks customers. Unfortunately for us, we stop by on our way to work. The $25/year fee and 10% off was probably a better deal for us. On the other hand, my wife usually orders a white chocolate mocha add peppermint syrup to it. That syrup costs an extra 35 cents plus, if I seperate our coffee order into two orders rather than one we get credit for two purchases instead of one.

It's all in how you look at it. Either the coffee cup is half empty or the coffee cup is half full.
