What a gorgeous sunflower! We used to grow them when we lived in California. Do you harvest and toast the seeds?

Awesome!!
We haven't had those since DS15 brought one home from nursery school in a paper cup - it was so much fun watching it grow to twice his height. Will think about planting some this summer, your pic is inspiring

Something to look forward to- a color other than white. We had them almost every year growing on their own in the back yard, but this year there were none.

How lovely as I look at the snow bank! In July, when you are cold we'll send you pictures of flowers

Maybe this time if no cockies come. We've only ever just bought a packet of seeds and plant them that way.

I have to as a question. I am not a world traveler or know what goes on for weather in some other countries. What does winter hold for temperatures for you? And, any break to the drought? That last question of course has to do with the grapes. I like some of the fruit bomb wines from the down under.Don
