Dark Horse Raffle Gifts

I became a member of my local Lions Club last year. I barely new everyone, and somehow became the Lion Tamer. I am in charge of reviving the long lost Dark Horse Raffle that has not been done for several years. We have 2 meetings a month, and I need to have a gift for at least one of the meetings, if not both. It can not be over $10. The group is mostly older men, but recently we have new recruits that are much younger. Does anyone have any suggestions? It can be anything for a gag type thing to something nice and possibly seasonal. Thanks in advance.

A wallet seems like a safe gift to me. I know that the men in my family never buy one for themselves. Also come in a wide price range. WalMart usually sells more expensive wallets for less.

My Husband's family has a grab at Christmastime. Everyone brings a "unisex" gift, then gets to choose another. One of the most clever, and useful I think, was an assortment of car "goodies", (Armorall, air freshner, etc.). Gas cards are good and practical, too.

I think a wallet is a great idea.
How about a $5 GC to Blockbuster with some microwave popcorn?
A heart shaped box of Valentine candy?

This last meeting I got a gallon jug of windshield washer fluid. Everyone thought it was a great idea!

How about a small LED flashlight or a MagLight? I see them in Home Depot and I think they're handy. They are probably also in stores like Walmart and Target.

Yes, I did. Thank you. I used some ideas that I got. I am off the hool for February because we are meeting with other groups. Actually February would have been easy!
