  • Bad weather coming to the Midatlantic - again!

The mid-Atlantic is just getting pummeled by bad weather. Another snowstorm is heading this way and is expected to hit Friday into Saturday. So far, here in south-central PA we've had a little less than areas to the south, but I think we're in for it this time. Looks like we're getting 6 to 12 inches of the white stuff. Wouldn't be so bad if people didn't drive like morons in the snow. The worst are the people with the SUVs who think they can fly through anything and then stop on a dime. To all of you in the VA/MD/DC corridor, looks like you'll be getting the worst of the storm (again). Please, stay safe and warm everyone.

How odd that MD/VA/Carolinas area has gotten more snow than us this winter.

We had a 2 hour snow delay this morning here in the lower Hudson Valley of NY but have for the most part gotten off pretty light. I'm not currently seeing weather warnings for the weekend but that may very well change.

I'm seeing mixed reports for the New York area....My DD's having a b'day party Saturday night, and I'm just hoping that snow doesn't cause a problem.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

DD, SIL and precious 14 month old granddaughter are flying down to stay with us in Orlando. They leave Buffalo on Saturday. The weather station here is making no mention of Buffalo. Can anyone in that area tell me what they have in store? They are driving from Toronto, and it is a direct flight.

        Thanks.

Buffalo is very north and west of where we are talking about...we will be able to tell more tomorrow night early friday about the storm path.
In places like Buffalo, a foot of snow is no big deal - it is furthr south that people freak out over a few inches.
Glad u r going to have a nice visit with DGD

Yes, Buffalo is about an eight-hour drive from where Lawren and I live. No snow in the forecast for them....

We're getting a sample of it first, & it has started.

The 7 inches of snow we got a few days ago is mostly gone.

We've got a flight out of Indianapolis Saturday for Grand Cayman and they are forcasting 4-7 inches of snow starting Friday into Saturday. We have a connection in Charlotte, NC and I think there is also bad weather forcasted for there. REALLY hoping we make it to Cayman on Saturday! So tired of all this cold and snow ... so ready for 2 weeks of sun and sand
