Hi. I guess I should provide an update.

Good news is I will actually be staying at NCV (Newport Coast) next month for the first time in nearly three years.

I got to keep the NCV intervals in the divorce, which will be final in about two months. That's the main bad news.

Mom's still alive but doesn't recognize me anymore and her care eats up a lot of my time.

While I'm down at NCV I'll catch up on timeshare stuff. It'll be nice to disconnect for awhile from relationship and divorce-related stuff.

Thanks for thinking of me. I still travel and still keep up on flying-related stuff, but admit I've let the timeshare stuff slide for the last couple years, just renting out the intervals. I've started popping in OY the past couple months since the divorce stuff has settled out and expect to be back to the usual by summer. Hopefully the economy will cooperate. Thanks and take care

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Please to hear that you're well.

                    Your contributions have been missed.

Me, too. Sorry for the breakup, but there is life after divorce as opposed to life after marriage.

My stbx took our cat, so I adopted another one. Lifesaver. He keeps me sane.

Thanks for the well-wishes. All in all, I'm happy to be 50 and alive. Hopefully, many good years ahead.

Oh, wrt 'bitter', my best friend has a running joke..... 'bitter much?', to which I retort, 'so, how's that working for ya?' Open another beer and life goes on.

It does go on and after a little while, it get so much better. Just have to shift gears. It's called uncoupling (among other things).

I was reunited with my old love last year (I was 21 and he 23- but on a USN Sub, so that "torpedoed' our budding romance back then ! )and this time it's the very best thing that ever happend.

All the good that you've put out there will come back to you.

Reminds me of the old quip:
Q: What's the longest sentence in the English language?

                            A: "I do."
“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

                            “You shouldn't wear that body.”

Pat, sorry to hear about the divorce. I hope you got her FF miles too! Good to see you posting though. I haven't been doing any trips just for miles in awhile and I actually miss it. 50 is the start of the best time of your life!
