  • Starbuck's new sizes

Forget about Tall, Grande and Venti, Starbucks has two new sizes: Plenta and Micra. The Plenta is a 128-ounce drink for caffeine addicts who can't get enough coffee, and for those who need just a tiny sip, you can get the 2-ounce Micra. And don't worry about all that paper waste from the new Plenta sized-cup, Starbucks says you can reuse your gigantic Plenta cups in a number of useful ways including as a planter, lampshade or yoga block.

Can only imagine how much the big won would cost !

Even when oil prices were flirty with $150 per barrel a barrel of Starbuck regular coffee was still more expensive

I had to double check to make sure this wasn't under the joke forum!

All Starbucks lover's (or just coffee for that matter) need to register with Starbucks online. For my birthday I got a free anything I want coupon. When I used it, I was encouraged to get the biggest, add whatever I wanted, etc.
Nice Bday gift! I was buzzing all day....

We were in Woodbury Common outlets yesterday and we had Starbucks. I did not see the new sizes. I had heard about it on the radio a few weeks ago. We did have there new Black Cherry Chocolate Moca which my wife enjoyed but for me there Chai tea is great, OH both were Venti.

Lol....Luannne, that's not very nice of you teasing me with that Plenta size cup of coffee. I had my heart set on it! Figured I pick one up on the way to work, and be set for the day.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

I take back all of the nice things I've said about the people on this forum, you're all a bunch of no-good, lying, meanies

However, it did inspire me to create a April Fool's related thread on MO............

              Thanks for the idea !!

If you're a regular at Starbucks, get one of their reloadable cards and register it online. You'll get your free birthday drink and start building points for additional benefits. After 30 purchases (not hard if you're a coffee drinker), you'll get a free drink after each additional 15 purchases. You'll get free upgrade, WiFi while in the store, free coffee refills while in the store, free shots of syrup and upgrades to your drinks.

It's not the great deal they had before this, where you paid a $25 yearly membership fee and recieved 10% off most purchases but, it's still a good deal if you're going to be buying your coffee there anyway.
