I think mine are done, but I haven't filed them. Need to send a (big) check to an SEP account first.

Filing an extension again.

I'm the ultimate procrastinator and stupidly so because I always get a refund.

Fed tax has been filed electronically.

Wrote the check and signed the State forms. Found an error on my son's state return and need to redo the State.

Just about down to the wire.

Hate this stuff. Esp if you owe them money.

Got DS a nice refund however. At least someone around here gets a refund.

Filed my federal taxes on Friday. They were actually done the end of last month, but I needed another "go through," and I found the $250. I didn't get that everyone else got earlier in the year.

I didn't do state taxes. Don't have to. I left California and got a 9.1% raise. Nevada doesn't have state taxes.

Accountant appointment in 2 days . For 360 days of the year I love being self-employed, but for the other 5 days I'm a monster. Every horizontal surface at home is covered in piles of paper. Requests by DH to have a seat to watch TV are met with "NO, don't move that pile" . In 2 days, I'll be making resolutions to be well organised from now on. Right now I'm thinking how nice it would be to be employed by someone who would give me a piece of paper with all my earnings, tax and superannuation details... heaven.

Due to the recent flooding in certain counties in Masschusetts, like mine, we've been granted an extension until May 11th.

There's always some good that comes out of something bad. Sort of.
