Just finished mine this AM. e-filed for federal - found out we get a nice chunk of change for the 2 DDs in college. Now we have some $ for vacation! Mailed the state return today and will drop off the local tonight.

Finished.. But had to shell out about 3 times as much as last year.. Ouch! Acountant said that the withholding numbers had been dropped this past year to encourage consumer spending so companies were not withholding as much as years past???

(She did have a bottle of Tequila behind her desk so I'm not sure of the accuracy of her statement- she says it's for her clients if they need motivation to sign the check, but I've always secretly wondered!)..

I've been very good this year and have mailed all my quarterly payments on time, in the nick o' time, but on time.

I am hoping between the quarterly payments and the witholding that I break even-ish.

Latest I've ever been, ever. My CPA wasn't thrilled with me but understands and doesn't hate me, at least this year.

Extension filed and we'll get together for some quality time over the summer.

I've done several practice runs and the last one knocked off about $1500.

I think I'm done and just need to fill out the forms.

Maybe after golf Wednesday.

Running through it one more time, and putting it on the forms, I cut a little more.
