When was the last time you sent someone flowers?

Other than for funerals, last year when my brother had surgery for throat cancer, I sent him roses. He said it was the first time he ever received roses and he liked how it felt, and from his baby sister besides. It made me cry.

He is 12 yrs my senior and lives in Virginia ans I don't see him very often.

Sent my wife flowers to her job few times a year so she could have her bragging rights off all the other ladies there! She use to love it because most the others would complain how their husbands didn't give flowers and how sweet I was!

Last few years since we have been married 27 years she wants to take the money and just go out to a nice dinner at Texas Road House.

Seldom if ever send flowers except for Funerals (if they don't name a charity for donations) but buy them at least once a week for around the house.

Just two days ago I sent some to:
My mom
My daughters preschool classroom
A coworker that helped me out with a project
A personal friend

Now you might think that I do this always. Last time was about a year ago. My madness came from the need for points for my Southwest Air Rewards account. I was about 5 short to getting a companion pass. (Pass that allows a person to fly with me free for about 13 months). Anyway, a special came up. Get 1 credit for flower orders. Done. Cost me $200 for the flowers. But, now I will fly someone free with me all next year which will be easily a savings over $1,000.
