  • OK, now it is my turn

as we were able to get Joyce into a rehab center I was able to have my surgery to remove a large bladder stone, here is a link to the photo. Not for the really squeamish,

    http://www.timeshareparadise.net/canyon.htm

I had the procedure on Thursday afternoon and I got to go home on Friday afternoon, the wound is painful, and I am using a catheter but I am felling better each day. Once I heal enough to be able to help Joyce around the house I will start lobbing to get her released and back home. Our oldest daughter can help her Mon-Wednesday during the day, and Joyce's Brother can watch her Thurs-Friday while I am at work, so we have all the hours covered.
It will be so nice to get her home,

        Ouch is right!

So glad Joyce is on the mend....and once she is home, she can have home care from a local certified Home Health Agency so her therapy can continue.
It is a nice transition and will give you all the confidence you need to care for her at home. The care would be covered by your health insurance or Medicare. Talk to the discharge planner at the SNF/Rehab facility to get the plan in motion.

OK, after seeing all the "ouches," I didn't look at the pic. However, I'm so glad to hear that both you and Joyce are on the mend, I hope that Joyce will be back home soon.

Wishing you both a full, and speedy recovery!

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

            Greg,
I hope you are feeling better soon. Its often that the caregiver partner will neglect their own health during times they are needed. This creates more stress, and even more complications, but it happens, doesn't it?

Glad you finally took care of yourself. That stone is impressive. It is difficult to imagine that you walked around with it.

I can see where you may have been "uncomfortable". That thing was huge!!

Glad to hear that you and Joyce are both on the road to recovery.

Glad to hear that both of you are on your way to recovery. Take advantage of whatever services you can get to help you and your family out. You will need a break now and then so that you can enjoy more TS vacations with your wife and family. God bless.
