  • Where to hold up for our anniversary night?

After galivanting the country, we're thinking of doing a B&B at home for our special event.
Has anybody stayed at York River Inn?
How about any B&B near Williamsburg?
Please include your opinion with regards to how the place might fit an anniversary stay for 1 or 2 nights.

If you want to hold up, I'd recommend some place that has some money. If you want to hole up, try the Tides Inn.

Spent our 50th in the comfort of home, together!

Thanks, Spence. That sounded great to me.

I could find no want-to for holing-up any place I attempted. We had been away (Hawaii and out west) too long... Perfectly happy to be home.

Even suggesting Tides Inn and showing photos met with indifference.

      Here is what we did:

The evening before, we enjoyed a Jimmy's Pizza at Williamsburg, than after a hot fudge sunday, took in the late-night show, "Night Date" at the AMC theater in Hampton.

For the anniversary evening, our daughter and husband went with us to Williamsburg for a Cities Grill dinner (one of our favorite places).
