  • AOL screwing up TS4M's today

Occasionally, AOL makes it difficult for me to log in to TS4Ms, but today it is really crazy. I can log in, I can see the forums, but if I try to access certain forums or reply to any posts, it asks me to log in again. When I do, it says thanks for logging in, then tells me I don't have the authority to view/post to the forums. I had no trouble when I logged in using Internet Explorer, so I know it's an AOL glitch. I know technically advanced users hate AOL, but I hate to give it up because I've used it forever and I like the way things "look" when I use it.

Aww Jacki...change is tough. I did it though. When AOL messed with my Travel Boards and other favorite places-I gave it up. I still use my AOL mail-web based-which is great because I can access it anywhere. You can do it! I'll hold your hand

I use AOL for my mail, too, but that's all I use it for.

Jackie, you can do it. I just got a new computer and am using Safari, which is totally different then what I'm used to using. Takes some getting used to, but I'm adjusting.

Have to admit it really stinks with online searches, tho, and I'm must likely going to download internet explorer, for doing searches.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Do you use the full URL address like http://www.timeshareforums.com/ and not just timeshareforums.com that you can do in Explorer? I read that recently on the Internet. See if that works.

I have been using Firefox or Google Chrome now as my browser for quite some time now at home.

No Problems 99.9% of the time.

I've been using chrome for quite a while now and I love how fast is loads compared to other browsers, especially FF, however, at least for me, I have occasional problems with embedded java sites; Marriott's 'my-vacationclub' being the worst offender as of late.

              Jackie,

              Just out of curiosity.

Go to Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test and do a speedtest.

Just click on the button that says BEGIN TEST.

To be very honest, I don't even know what that means.
I download a program and then click on that to gain access to the internet?
Sorry, but I am a LOW techie.

I think you should wean yourself away from the aol browser.
