  • Pillows by Wyndham

OK. I am a little crazy about certain things. Pillows are one of the challenges in my life. It takes forever to find a pillow that I love. I bought four recently that I like but I don't love them. They're OK.

I've stayed in a couple of Wyndhams and besides the cute little salt and pepper shakers and the bucket sized coffee cups ( every timeshare should have these as mandatory equipment ), I fell in LOVE with the pillows. So much so that I wrote down what they were and have been on the hunt since.

    I FOUND THEM!!!!!

Sobel Westex Sahara Nights pillows. On Amazon. They come next week and I'm so excited!!!!

Anyone else find something in a timeshare that they needed to buy for their own use or am I the only nutcase on the board?

No, but thanx for tracking down Wyndham's! I have a hard time with pillow too (grew up with feather, but husband allergic...). We often stay at WYN's, and I do like the pillows, just never thought to look at origin!!

I did fall in love with a bed and bedding at the W hotel... heavenly bed collection. Unbelievable... but darn it, some feathers involved!

Am def going to try one of those pillows - I have a very hard time finding tolerable pillows and my old favorite is sadly failing. Thanks for mentioning.

I've been tempted to buy the Spa Aquatics H2O toiletries at the DVC resorts.

I like the mattress toppers they have at Renaissance and some Marriott hotels. I did find them, but they were depressingly expensive...about $200 for a queen size, I think. I didn't buy it; I figured it's hard enough to get out of bed as it is.

Uh-oh...I just looked and they're on sale for $150!

One of those is on my purchase list. Hopefully very, very soon.

Loved Westin's Heavenly. Is the W different? How long have you had it Pat?

W is not quite as heavenly! Meaning not as soft. The "W" also comes with a pillowtop and regular - I have the pillow-top and like it a lot. Have had it since Oct 2008 (Thanks Angela for the WSJ sighting! )

The bedding was incredible as well. We first discovered it all at the W Bohemian Orlando.

I think the same products were on the Disney cruise. Yes, they were very nice products!!

I stayed at the Affinia 50 NYC a few years ago and fell in love with the bed. I slept so soundly. I loved the bedding too. I couldn't decide if it was the mattress, the bedding, or the fact that I walked all over and was just so tired that I slept well.

I seriously considered buying the mattress they offered. It really was reasonable too. I never did it and I now HATE my mattress.

                          Next time-I'm doing it!

My sister is currently at Wyndham Bali Hai. They have a recently remodeled unit and the one thing she reported about the unit was that the bed was comfy and soft. Wyndham must be doing something right. I'll have to ask about the pillows

There used to be H2O stores in our malls but they disappeared.

My friends were on the verge of stealing the pillows from the AKV Kidani last year. They kept joking about putting it in their suitcases. I had to watch them like a hawk because I'm sure I'd be charged for the missing ones.

For me I love the Aromatherapy stuff that they put in the Marriott hotels. It's from Bath & Body Works. The Orange Ginger. I always stash the little ones they give you so the maid will leave me more then I put them in my pocket so I have them at work.

Love those little salt/pepper shakers at Wyndham too.

Thanks for the thread, Lawren. Brianna started chewing the thread at the end of my pillow, and it is only a matter of time...I guess she's upset, she never did that before.

Anyway, you can get them from the Sobel Wessex website as well, there was a small discount, but then they added tax on. Hey, don't they know I live in Nevada, and I have a general disdain of taxes???
