        Robert,

        What are the orange/pink flowers?

Fantastic pictures. And your Lantana is growing very well. I overwintered mine in a pot and it really didn't do well this summer. It won't last in the ground here so I'm really envious that yours looks so good and obviously attracts gorgeous butterflies.

Nice, my Lantana didn't do as well this year either. The first year I bought one it went crazy, but I planted it in a different area this year and it didn't fare so well. Another good plant to attract butterflys is the Butterfly Bush. They have different colors. shaggy

this has been a fabulous year for butterflies! Thanks for sharing, I've really been enjoying the show all summer.

I can do without the tiny moth invasion, tho. cicadas stayed too long, were too populous. it's all a trade-off, and I've been thrilled to see such a flutter of color.

Oh My Gosh Robert ~~ too pretty!! The highlight, (IMO), of our vacation this year, was to a Butterfly Conservatory ~~ I absolutely loved it!! It was like a magical fairy garden. I bought a few feeders, and will concentrate on a few more species of flowers come spring to attract more of them. They fascinate me, along with the hummers, and the many other birds we have. I put up a Bird Bath this year, with a solar powered fountain in it. (There's a bush right next to it, so Kenny ran the cord up through the bush, and the solar panel is on top of a shepherd's hook.) The Birds love it!! (and Butterflies too!!) Thanks for sharing these!!

2-years ago SIL Dan put in Miss Huff Lantana plants . We were surprised they survive the winter. In late April he cuts the canes to 1' . Boy, did they ever grow and bloom this summer.

Lots of plants take at least 2 years to get a really good hold. Unfortunately, up here in N.E., we're really limited ~ but that doesn't stop us from trying!! Those flowers ~ and the butterflies are beautiful!! Great shots!
