Thank you all for the wishes. We had a very good time.

We were able to get a $40 for $100 restaurant certificate from Travelzoo local events. I was able to bring in a bottle of wine, so I brought a 1997 Kendall Jackson Stature. I checked prices on the wine, $90-125. I did not pay nearly that price. I bought it at Sams Club a few years ago, so questioned the wine handling under them and if it would be okay. The cork came out in a million pieces. After filtering the wine, we found it very good.

We ate Sterling Silver steaks which were darned near fork tender and we had so much left on the certificate that we had 3 desserts, one to split at the restaurant and 2 to come home along with the rest of the dinner.

All in all, a great night that will go on for another meal.
