  • What color bedding should I buy?

I purchased this color bedroom set, and now I do not know what color to use with it. I am trying to stay away from any more blue. Any suggestions??

The accent chair in my living room is nearly this same color. I have used an oatmeal color and an almost milk chocolate color for the majority of pillows and accessories.

Drapes are in the milk chocolate family with the seafoam blue sheers under. Carpet is the oatmeal color in that room. Pillows and other fabric accessories are mixed in the oatmeal, milk chocolate and seafoam.

I agree with Joy's choices. I see a lot of ice blue with chocolate these days.

You could go upscale hotel-look with stark white or white on white or a very soft coral.

The color (Sea Mist) looks more green than blue on my screen. Crisp white would be nice, then you can add splashes of color with pillows, accent pieces, etc.

If you can remove a knob, take it with you to the bedding store. Otherwise a small drawer.

I was thinking cream. So oatmeal/cream with chocolate sounds good to me. Sounds like an interesting flavor combination too.

Thanks everyone for your help. OK, so after many months of agonizing over this, I made a decision. It was the beige/ecru suggestion that helped. Plus, I went online again today and I got 70% off AND free shipping. I also failed to mention that it is for our house in South Carolina so I wanted something southern looking. Here goes:

Love it. Notice the furniture is a dark brown (chocolate) at a later date you can add deep brown accents (lamp shades, sheers etc) and have a different look keeping the same basic colors.

Love the "yhgtbkm," even I don't get the t/s decor reference...

So, Ann-Marie -- how did it work out?

I actually saw it in person. It looks very nice. It's something I would never have thought to use.

Hope it works and you like my choice!
