Steffi Update
Steffi had her second opinion vet visit today. News wasn't much better. But we can live with it.
An operation on her would cost about $2000. While the Vet said she could do it, she also said that with Steffi's age, she may do as well without it. We need to watch her as she empties her bladder; we need to watch to see if there blood or pain or straining to empty. If she is fine, she can go on with just some medication that reduces inflammation in her bladder.
On the other hand, if there are problems...well, we don't want to get into that now. Kim was crying most of the day. The big concern is if the stone moves and covered the urethra. We don't even want to think of that or other 'what if' conditions.
