  • Looks like the Northeast is headed for a blizzard

I am so not happy. We are not having Christmas until tomorrow when my daughter is coming to Long Island from Boston. I am praying that they get out of their house very early. They have a new baby, so I tried to suggest that when they get up in the middle of the night, just get dressed and head out. I will take care of the baby and they can nap. We have a dinner planned for family and close friends tomorrow night and an open house for family and friends on Monday so everyone can meet our new granddaughter. I have been cooking for 2 days. Just wondering what is going to happen with the weather. Oh boy, it looks like a sleepless night for me.

Good luck to all those trying to get somewhere, or hoping to have someone come see you...

We made it to Vermont with no traffic, and are looking forward to some snow

Good luck Ann Marie.....Hopefully, your DD will make it to you before the major snow.

I was worried last week when the forecast was a possible blizzard on Christmas Day. I hope it all works out for you & your guests. Enjoy the time with you new grand child.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

My son and dil left at about 9AM to go from south Jersey shore area to Fairfax Va. Was snowing heavely when they left this AM. Would have stayed most of the day until they heard the forecast last night. Hope they arrive home safely.

Ann-Marie, hopefully your DD has arrived by now. Been snowing for about 2 hrs here in north Jersey and less than an inch on the ground. Looking forward to getting back to SC.
