  • 1st white xmas in 60 yrs!!!

We had a white xmas!! Started snowing at 11:30 am and kept snowing all day and night. 6 Inches. I know that doesn't sound much to you people up north, but it was just right for here. The roads were clear today and I went to Old Salem to take pics in snow. Went by Kelli's grocery store today and over half of the people called in , and the roads weren't even bad!!

    Everyone stay safe!! shaggy

Congrats to you ~ if you're happy, then I'm happy for you! We're havin' a blizzard out there now, (thanks for sending it up!). Supposed to have 20" before it's through. I remember, many years ago, when Susan first moved to Charlston, the temps had dropped so low one night, the puddles in the potholes froze. She told us they had cops out with orange cones on the ice, directing traffic around it! Thought I'd die laughing!!

Anyhow........... Come July............ we'd give anything for this weather! Fickle bunch aren't we? Too bad we can't bottle it!!

RESORT2ME what an awesome picture of the snow in Yorktown.
That would be awesome picture for a Christmas card for 2011.

For the first time in a many of years all the cities in the Hampton Roads and the Peninsula Region are closed.

We have 11"" of snow in North Suffolk,VA.

I only like snow if I can be indoors and look out at it, however I can't deny that I love snow pictures. They are absolutely beautiful. Thanks, Robert for posting yours.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

                    Enjoy!!

I hate the cold, but love the snow. Am happy to be in Vermont, where it will stay pretty unlike what happens at home after the first day.

No snow for us here in Toronto on Christmas! There is a bit left over from last week, but travel for Christmas Day and Boxing Day was easy. Now, if it would only hold off until mid-January, when we head down to Florida!
