Happy Chinese New Year! We had spaghetti tonight but will go out with my extended family Friday night. I remember, as a kid growing up in Shanghai, I was so looking forward to Chinese New Year every year. It meant non-stop eating from one relatives house to another for a straight week. Each home cooked lunch/dinner would be different and better than the precious one. Towards the end of the week, we were so sick of eating anything and begged our parents just to stay home. Of course the memory was so short-lived. The next year the whole ritual started all over again...I have not been back to China for Chinese New Year for 27 years. We plan to do that next year when my younger son leaves home for college...
Actually I was wrong. Hubby just reminded me that we would be on the cruise from New Zealand to Australia next year during Chinese New Year. Guess we will have to wait for another year...
Its the Year of the Rabbit and our favorite little
rabbit named Lucky would like to wish everyone
