News while on vacation that Mother died

I was informed Monday evening (while on vacation in Orlando at Disney-the happiest place on earth) that my mother died. We had been expecting this for a while and at every vacation felt it would happen, but this time it did.

We will get back home about midnight Saturday night, the funeral is Monday morning. Makes enjoying vacation a little tougher when having to deal with a funeral home long distance.

Sorry to hear this. My condolences, not much of a vacation. I don't know how you can stay there but sounds like you've been expecting this for a long time. I know when my mom was so sick, everytime I went on vacation our standard line was don't do anything stupid and die on me while I'm gone. She said ok., she waited for me to get home and then died the night b4 I was scheduled to get there. Hospice told me she felt safe knowing I was coming. I don't care how much you know it's going to happen it still hurts. God Bless you & your family.
