Do something you WANT to......not something on your SHOULD DO list.
If you were going to die soon and had only one phone call you could make, who would you call and what would you say? And why are you waiting?

Amen. When I was working (and even after) I spoke to Jerry every day on the phone at about 9 AM. We set up a specific time so I could try to be available. Anyway, I never finished a conversation with him on the phone that I didn't say, "I Love You." It got so if I didn't answer the phone and one of my partners did, before transferring the call, they would say, "Its 'I Love You.'"

        Wow!, I love this post.

My first thought: a conference call to hubby and 4 kids (adults) -- "Remember, Do not waste money on a large funeral, cremate me."

My second thought: same conference call -- "Remember the good times we had. I lived a GREAT life!"

We have always said our "I Love Yous" before hanging up/parting. So, I do not feel I have neglected doing this. However, because I am a "fairly-new grannie" -- I prolly would want a HUG (vs a phone call) from my 5 yr-old twin grandsons.
        hope this info helps,
