  • Are you going to watch the Royal Wedding today?

We are watching it now and saw a glimpse of the bride arriving in the car. You can see her now again and she looks beautiful.

It reminds me of Princess Di and her wedding day. I watched that too. What a tragic ending for Princess Di. Her son to be married must miss her on this day and the younger one too.

Woke up at 5:40 and turned it on.....caught everyone driving to the church.

Katherine looks beautiful and everyone else look happy - it is a wonderful day for sure and refreshing to see something positive on TV.

      But who did Harry's hair???

I'm watching - very beautiful - I love all the pomp and circumstance!

I'm glad the commentators kept quiet during the exchanging of vows and ceremony.

I hope this is the first of many happy days in their married life!

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Haven't been able to take my eyes off the TV since it started. DH brought my dinner on a tray so I didn't miss a thing.

Love the dress, she looks gorgeous. Love seeing all the guests in their finery, although I do find Beatrice and Eugenies outfits (hats) a bit outrageous.

Currently waiting for the balcony appearance.

Beautiful Ceremony. Katherine looked beautiful and her dress was lovely. I loved the traditions and the hymns they chose were wonderful. I was impressed with Katherine's brother and his reading.

So nice that they are in love and it showed! Great day!

I think we have lost something in America with all the casualness of some weddings.

Got up @ 4 and watched the whole thing, texting with an Anglophile friend. We had so much fun commenting with each other.

                    FYI::::: It's Catherine with a C y'all... not K.

And she is now Duchess of Cambridge, Countess of Strathearn, and Baroness of Carrickfergus (!)) (I am not making this up)

Harry's hair -- HAT hair!!( I think.) They were both a mess when they took their hats off but Wills doesn't have enough to muss.

                    B. and Eugenie -- definitely agree, UGLY hats. Who was their stylist?

Loved it all - and totally agree about the trees - so much nicer for that venue than tons of flowers... Very 'green' idea..

I have it on DVR and will start watching it in a little while. I have a ton of ironing to do so this will be a good program to watch during the task.

I liken the whole thing to watching a movie. Fun, entertaining in its own way, and not remotely close to my own life.

I set the DVR and will watch the whole thing at some point. Since it was all over the news this morning I have seen "the dress" (gorgeous), "the kiss", and saw them leaving Buckingham Palace in the Austin-Martin (classic ).

After the first kiss, which was a little short many said, the crowd chanted 'kiss her again' -- and William broke with precedence and DID, and it was longer than the first one . Much more satisfactory for the viewers

My wife had it on early this morning so I watched most of it until I fell asleep which was just before they kissed. I have to say she is Gorgeous.
I did enjoy watching the wedding and area they were in since we were there last year and it is still fresh in our minds.

I'm sure this is "the kiss" that has been re-broadcast.
