I'm in unit 10. Each floor has 10 units.
Units 1 and 10 are on the Collins Ave. side. Noisier but they've put in hurricane impact windows so it helps with the noise but you still hear it when on the balcony.
Units 5 and 6 are best. Oceanfront. Next to the back elevators and laundry rooms.
Units 4 and 7 are behind the oceanfront and 2, 3 8 and 9 are located in the middle of the building. The building goes long ways from the street to the beach. Not ideal for views but they can pack in more units that way.
I hear ya but if I had it in my stuff, I would not have to remember - so bring it along with you and I/you can write in the number locations, okay?

Also, is it better to be on one side of the building or the others for both views (closeness of next door neighbors) and/or sun?

      For my July trip...

I have unit 605 (2 bedroom oceanfront) and unit 210 (one bedroom). Sounds like we'll be spending most of our time in 605

I don't know about sleeping in unit 210. It's very close to the street. I'm on the 5th floor and I can hear the traffic pretty loud but we've got the balcony door open. I imagine sleeping lower in the building it would be much worse.

          Perhaps.
Well we broke down and ordered Brazilian steak for dinner.
Ordered delivery from Asa 2. Picahna steak and pumpkin soup.
The steak was decent but the delivery guy took an hour to get here so it wasn't real hot anymore and the sweet potato fries were soggy by then.
I guess it's probably better to just go out but since it's Friday night we didn't really want to go out and wait an hour so decided to just stay in and do cocktails for appetizers.

I'm not sure about the north side of the building. I'm on the south side of the building and was the last time I was here. From my balcony I can see the beach and also have a nice city view at night. The windows are so bright that we get a great view day and night. It's probably the same on the other side but can't tell you for sure.

Now you have me confused Chris, I thought you were in "10" which faces out onto Collins Avenue (as does "1) ???
How do you see the beach and face south in that unit?

Because the unit has 2 balconies. One balcony with a side view of the beach and the other a full view of the intracoastal along with the street below. It's actually not a bad view as you can see the ocean in the distance by day and at night you have the view of the city lights and buildings downtown in the distance.

Maybe lower down it might not be as nice but up on the 5th floor was nice.
I think the building only has 6 floors so we were almost on the top.
I'm not one who really likes to be too high up anyway so 5th was fine.

The problem with a full ocean view is that at night it's dark. Real dark so you don't see anything, while having a side view actually gives you a better night view when you'll actually be in the unit anyway. A full ocean view is nice but you usually don't spend all day in the room anyway so it's kinda wasted but it's still nice having breakfast overlooking the beach so I guess it's worth it.

Mom had a cast on her leg so she didn't go down to the beach so having the balconies worked out nice for her having both views.

We had a little "girls night out" on my balcony and we ordered Brazilian steak and made cocktails. A nice way to end the staycation.
