Once an Eagle. always an Eagle. My older son is one. My other son regrets not getting his. It takes a lot of dedication and effort from both the Scout and the parents. Congratulations to you all.

I asked him about the Palms. But, he turns 18 in September so he will age out before he can earn them. Getting to Eagle wasn't his main goal in scouts (even though it was mine for him). He is a member of the Order of the Arrow and he participates every summer in various Scouting events. Over the last 4 years he did NYLT, NOAC, 100th Boy Scout Jamboree and this summer he will be doing Indian Summers in North Carolina. That is in addition to the normal summer camp. He will be doing that at the end of this month and will earn more merit badges. He asked to be assistant Scout Master in his Troop.
