I love these damn robot vacuums! They are perfect for spot cleaning during the week and they get under the furniture that I can't with the "real" vacuum and do a very decent job. Go attack the dust bunnies under the dressers and beds!

Magellan is my replacement for Gallileo and we are getting along just fine since his arrival yesterday. He is hard at work sucking up cat hair and the cats are now in the closet.

They get named for various Star Trek shuttles. Going to places no one has gone before.

I had one, Isabella (Havanese/Poodle) hated it. Ended up getting rid of it. She hates the hand-steered vacuum too, but at least that one doesn't chase her around the house.

I could just see my cats doing the same thing. I think I'll get one.

My friend has one and one of her cats actually ride on it. It's a kittymobile.

Cats are absolutely amazing! Someone posted this movie clip on Facebook today and this thread reminds me of this movie clip again once the cats or kittens get more adventurous or accustomed to the Roomba.

In a way, I wished we had a cat or kitten again but on the other hand we keep saying no because we like to travel without having to worry about them plus where will they go once we are gone?

I love my Roomba also. His name is Robo and he does a fabulous job with the cat hair. My cat has been known to step on Robo and turn him own from time to time.....it is funny.
