I had grown tired of throwing out half used containers of 1% milk every week. A friend tipped me off on organic milk. The expirations are ~6 weeks from purchase date in most cases. I decided to give it a try.
I have had a half gallon in my fridge for over 3 weeks. Open and in use. Poured it over cereal yesterday and perfectly fine.
How do they DO that? Why does the regular stuff expire in a week-10days and this organic milk lasts forever? It kind of weirds me out in a way.
Even though more expensive it costs far less than tossing away the typical stuff.
