  • Need a good discount website for luggage

I need some new luggage. Want a rollaboard and something a little larger to check. Looking for pieces that are lightweight also but spending hundreds $$ is not within my budget.

I went on an online luggage search last year and didn't find many bargains. We ended up buying Samsonite at JCP when they were on sale and got a great deal.

IMO Spend a bit more and buy something that has a life time warranty, I have replaced my Eddie Bauer luggage starting from 1992 when I bought my first Eddie Bauer ford SUV. My wife washed it and ruined it about 10 years back. They had said that this was normal wear so they no longer wanted to replace it. I tried a few times threw the years same answer until last year when the Store Rep said if you are not happy with it send it back and they will send you a refund. So we returned all of our EB last year and we got back over $600 in EB credit.
Now since my wife stopped using the EB set some 10 years ago. I bought nice Luggage cheap from one of my cigar companies and they had Kenneth Cole wheeled Duffel's. I ended up buying 4 of them but every few years the strap would break so I would bring it to the store had to pay I think it was an $8 shipping few and in a few weeks I would get it back, One year they sent it back to my house and replaced it with new same model. Now my luggage is about 10 years old so last year one of my bags broke to the point it could not be fixed. KC sent me a new better more $ than what I had. Sounds great right My wife said it does not match the ones we had. So I called the rep they took our other 3 back and sent us any 3 bags we wanted in that style or they would send us 4 in any style we wanted, My very first purchase cost me only $55 for each the ones that I have now were selling for $300 each. They way we were treated with KC I would not every think twice about buying from them, They really with no questions asked stand behind what they sell.

          Try O.co

I have a set of Ricardo Beverly Hills hardside luggage I've been very happy with. I got it at Costco, but it's also available online via Overstock.com and many others. The 21" also expands, which made it nice when transporting souvenirs home via carry-on. They have durable swivel wheels which have outlasted my previous luggage's run ins with the airlines. The only thing I miss is an outside pocket, but it's not important.

I like what they have at TJMaxx and Marshall's. Lots of fun choices and good prices!

I agree with Wacky. They have name brand luggage which is sold elsewhere for more. I learned this after I purchased mine elsewhere.

                Also Ross dress for Less.

I also carry TravelPro---I'm on my third 22" roll aboard in ~16 years. It holds up reasonably well, is pretty light, but I have to admit that the most recent line isn't as roomy as earlier incarnations. A decent value, but not a great one.

On the recommendation of Consumer Reports, we bought some Delsey 26" bags for a trip a few years ago. Significantly less expensive, not quite as sturdy, probably a better value overall.

I am loving my Dakine bag. I usually use eBags - Largest Selection Of Handbags, Backpacks, Luggage & More - eBags going thru the AA shopping site for points. I saw the bag In a store in Southampton and save considerably probably 40% on ebags.

Thanks for the tips. Don't belong to Costco but I just joined Sam's Club so I am going to check that out.
