I think similar to small white holiday lights, "flickering" lights can get wearing. I usually mix a few sets in with non-flickering, for effect, but all flickering is too much for me. Not sure that these would have the same effect, tho?Angela

A 50-50 mix is probably a good idea.
That's why I wanted to get some locally before eBaying. I want to see how they look and how much light they cast.
