For a party--I need them to light up the centerpieces, but there will be kids running around and I don't want to start a fire with real candles!

Hmmm, I'm not sure? Hard to say.

        Maybe 50/50 would be better?

I think similar to small white holiday lights, "flickering" lights can get wearing. I usually mix a few sets in with non-flickering, for effect, but all flickering is too much for me. Not sure that these would have the same effect, tho?

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Hmm, hadn't thought of that--a whole room full of flickering lights. But it's during the daytime....

A 50-50 mix is probably a good idea.

That's why I wanted to get some locally before eBaying. I want to see how they look and how much light they cast.

I'm guessing that they will not cast a lot of light, especially in the day. Locally, try Target.
