  • moving 'junk' mail

You know when you move to a new house you get all sorts of mail from Dish Network, ADT, Chemlawn, etc. trying to sell homeowner services......

Well, after 17 years in the same home, I'm getting loads of this kind of mail at my home address, addressed to Leah Pellegrino. What does it mean? Where's the scam, has she taken over my equity and mortgage

    ??????

or has someone stolen her identity and moved her to my house?

Seems like she has given her home address as yours.

I have been guilty of something similar, in an effort to cut down on telemarketing calls I transposed the last digits of my telephone number on forms. Someone else should now be getting my telemarketing calls.

You could attempt to trace her and advise her of the mistake, or just toss the junk mail to her along with your own.

A friend of mine just recommended this group to me:

I googled the name. She's on LinkedIn and she's a librarian in Washington, so I doubt she is trying to work some scam.

Oh, I found the same person in Arlington VA but she never answers the phone.
        Thanks.
