Anyone have experience with college apps for music students?

We've put together a video to submit, but I'm really clueless as to what the music departments may be looking for and our HS guidance counselor is in unfamiliar territory with this one. If anyone has any experience with this, I'd really appreciate a PM or post here.

I guess I should also try to contact some music depts at the schools we're looking at, but do you think they'd be willing to view the video prior to it being submitted?

I'm not, but my nephew was a music major at Bucknell in PA. I "think" he was admitted as a music major. I'll see if I can catch him on Facebook later and find out anything.
