We don't get many trick or treaters. We have put up a fire pit in the driveway and make smores.

We live is the sticks and unless the cows decided to go door to door (which they've been known to do), begging for candy, it'll be quiet night

DD is 12 and loves candy so this is a favorite holiday of hers. In fact, this year, surrounding areas have all picked different trick or treat nights (personally I think it should be the 31st only) so she's double/triple dipping again. Oh well, you're only a kind once!

Have to say- I love the way the board looks

Happy Halloween! We still get some kids coming around. I'm fine with the little ones, but when they are 18-20 years old it's just too pathetic.

I read that in towns hard hit by the storm (some places in north NJ got 31" !!)
trick or treating is postponed to the 5th.

I bought 24 bags of Candy, 3 different types of Snickers, Twix, Kit Kat, Butter finger, Pay Day, Reeses peanut butter cups and one of my Favs $100 Grand bar. Would you believe we only have 1 bag left. I just realized I did not buy or see Mounds or Almond Joy or Baby Ruths at the store.

We alway keep track of the number of little munchkins (and some not-so-little!) that come to our door trick-or-treating. This is a record year: 275 as of 9 PM! Nice evening here (still over 50 degrees at 9 PM), so that always makes for a good turn out.

Lat night was the first Halloween that we have been home for several years. We usually are away at Halloween. We had quite a few trick and treaters last night. Halloween is not a very big deal for us.
