The credit is available in your account immediately and does not expire. You can see your available credit by selecting "My Account" or "My Gifts" from the drop down menu that appears when you place your cursor over your name in the top right corner of Groupon.com. Your available credit will be displayed in the white box to the right.
Groupon credit will automatically apply to your future purchases until it runs out.
