It's an IT certification. It is "the wave of the future of IT".

It was one of those one week deals. I work as a contractor for the gov't and got assigned to a project. Well the project turned into being the "model" for the company to follow possibly in the future. A lot of the things they wanted to do were ITIL compliant or standard and the team of folks assigned to the project were kind of in left field on some of the stuff they wanted to do. It was at this point the PM and director decided to ask, "who many of you are ITIL certified"? Well, of the group of 10 of us, 1 hand went up. Right then and there they had an epiphany, "how can you guys do this if you don't know over half of what we need you to know"? A little side note, if your director EVER EVER EVER asks that question in a room full of people, DO NOT ANSWER, it is a retorical question(and I am 44 yrs old, so I should have know better).
