Here in London we have had virtually no snow, and the lowest we have gotten is -15. It is not uncommon for us to get as low as -20 to -30 with the windchills so this has been abnormally warm. My father hates it, as for the first year he bought a snow blower and has only used it once even though he did not need to.

Seems a shame to be going to Canun right now (sitting her waiting in the airport now)!
Oh, very happy to be wrong!

Enjoy Cancun....When you get back home, the warm winter weather will be waiting.

It's real nice down here in FL too.
Cool. Dr. Noble and the Offspring are cruising the W. Carib. on the DCL Magic this week. I go down to O-Town next week. (We overlap long enough to have lunch at Wilderness Lodge.)

Awesome. Whispering Canyon is always a must do for us for breakfast.

Orlando has been even nicer weather than Miami (rained a little here) so you're gonna have awesome weather for your cruise. Today it's sunny and warm 78 degrees. Have a great time. I've yet to do a Disney cruise but soon they'll be parking here in Miami so I'll have no excuse.

Well, *I'm* not cruising. I still have to work this week. Just the wife and kids.

The Disney Magic is our favorite ship - we have done two trans-atlantic cruises on her. I know your gang is having a great time!

Gandalf, I have friends that are at the Royal Sands this week - this pictures show great weather there as well - enjoy your trip.

Walked the oceanfront boardwalk in Atlantic City, NJ yesterday - it was as crowded as a May Day and felt springlike as well.

After last winter, this weather is just fine with me.

Do you believe that winter is over? We went to June Lake once in June to see it in warmer weather but instead there was snow up to the second story. Weather is so unpredictable today.

It is cool here in Puerto/Nuevo Vallarta and we have our boat heaters on in the morning. It is still cool now and I have goose pimples on my arms while writing this post.

The sun is supposed to be out but I do not see it.... but it is great for walking on the beach!

                    Emmy, enjoy those beach walks.
Warm or not, there's no ocean or beach here!

Talk about weird. Yesterday it was 64 and I was running around with the top down on the mini. Today it is sleeting and snowing. shaggy

And it was predictable -- when?

When climatologists can agree on what caused the Medieval Warming Period in the North Atlantic or the Little Ice Age which hit closer to home, let alone the other ice ages, then I'll start expecting predictable weather.

We've had our warmest winter since 2001 so far, but it's only the 11th warmest in the last 142 years.

                          No snow in NY

I know you are all loving this warmer winter, but I am wishing for snow. Invested quite a bit into snowboarding lessons and equipment for my 2 kids this year and they are off school all of this week, so we are praying for a freak snow storm, although it doesn't look good. We have a small ski place about 10 minutes away and they have been able to get out once or twice a week on man-made snow which mostly is ice. They are loving it anyway, but I sure would like to see the ski resorts get some real snow. I feel bad for their season, a big loss for them this year.

Enjoy your early spring, but give me a late winter storm!!

Oh sorry....I know that some people like snow, and I certainly understand being disappointed having purchased lessons, and having the little ones.

Winter isn't over yet, so maybe you'll get your snow.......Glad the kids are having fun, regardless.

I agree with you. The weather has never been predictable. What the temp averages show are simply half way between the highs and the lows. If it is 80 today and 60 tomorrow then they report the average temp as 70.

Last night, we had our third largest snowfall of the year. It was officially 2.7". Last year, same date, we had 13". We have had only 16-18" this year to date compared with over 60" by this time last year.
