Gandalf, I have friends that are at the Royal Sands this week - this pictures show great weather there as well - enjoy your trip.

Walked the oceanfront boardwalk in Atlantic City, NJ yesterday - it was as crowded as a May Day and felt springlike as well.

After last winter, this weather is just fine with me.
I just booked the Disney Wonder for an Alaskan Cruise for this summer. Can't wait.

We have a small ski place about 10 minutes away and they have been able to get out once or twice a week on man-made snow which mostly is ice. They are loving it anyway, but I sure would like to see the ski resorts get some real snow. I feel bad for their season, a big loss for them this year.

Enjoy your early spring, but give me a late winter storm!!

I just looked at the forecast for the remainder of Feb, and they're predicting 40's to 50's for New York. I love it!
Yeah its been great! other than that freak snow storm on Halloween. But that wasn't officially winter yet!
Glad we didn't plan a winter ski trip, very little snow in the NE.

I was in Florida for Halloween, so if NY got snow I missed it.

Going to hit 60 today in NY! Yay!

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

This is the first year in at least ten that I didn't plan a NE snow trip after xmas, and it was pure dumb luck.

Last year we had a ton of snow, hopefully next year will be similar. In the meantime, I'm going out for a walk!

Arrived home at 5:00 am this morning after a gruelling delayed flight. Weather was wonderful despite the originally called for rain while we were there. Not bad for a first trip to Cancun but will write more when I get the chance.

We are having great weather right now. Yesterday was 82, bright and sunny and today is more of the same. This is definitely spa weather. I wish we would get some rain as we are far below normal.

Boring weather makes for boring people.
Looks like winter is telling us this morning that it's not spring yet.

CT has about three inches of snow right now from a storm that was not predicted.

Four days in a row this week we've had a good covering of snow in the early morning sometimes with flurries in the first part of the day, but it's all melted off by early evening. Snow in the morning that melts off in a day isn't unusual, but the snow/no snow, snow/no snow, for day after day part is. Usually morning snow melting off means it's getting warmer or that the precipitation part is wandering off at least.

Well it has snowed 2 days in a row in the Catskills I think I saw more snow the last 2 days up here than I did this entire winter. I have to say it looks beautiful out side right now and what makes it even better we do not have to care about the snow removal. On a bad note we are leaving a day early since who knows what the roads will look like in the morning. We are staying just to see the show which from what I hear the comedian is funny they have tonight,

It was freezing in NYC today with wicked winds. Maybe winter has finally arrived?

This winter has definitely been rugged here in eastern Europe, with roads, railroads, and airports closed and many dead from the cold. The UK has also has some bad cold spells but not as severe as here.
