I just had to brag on my wife and post about a couple of events she is participating in over the next few months.
The DW is a teacher at a private school in Minneapolis. The school is part of the larger Sabis system. She is very active in continuing her education to provide her students with advanced placement education. She teaches 8,9,11 and 12th grades in advance placement classes for social studies and art history to name a couple of her classes.
This weekend, she one of only 17 chosen to be at West Point for a weekend intense session on the U.S. Constitution called “Liberty and the Constitution”. The discussion is on the NY ratification of the constitution.
In April, she travels to Chicago for “Great US Military Battles and their impact on the US”. If she could, she would get her PhD in Military History, likely with the emphasis in WW2.
In June, she is a reader for AP Human Geography. Even though I don't fully understand this, it is prestigious and is a valued addition to her resume.
I had forwarded the Civil Literacy Test to her that was posted on one of the forum sites. She had a score of 100%. She knows her stuff.
She is very smart and her student’s grades show how well she teaches.
