We will be going out to dinner with Jim and Pat and their daughters, and granddaughter tonight for an Italian dinner. It will be interesting to hear about their travels from Australia.

Their hotel is two blocks from the San Francisco Pride Parade route so they will be going to see the parade this morning.

Hi everyone,
Just an update. We went out to dinner with Jim and Pat and family at Bucca di Berro. We all had a great time. Even though we all had cameras but forgot to pull them out, probably because the conversation was so interesting and we were all having fun and laughing so much. They went to the Pride parade and found it interesting. We'll be meeting up with them again and taking them for a tour of the city in a convertible tonight when the Victorians are all lit up.

Avery, you were absolutely right about Jim and Pat being some of the nicest people and fun to be around.

How nice of you to meet them again tonight and giving them a tour of the city. Your weather must be really nice for SF to drive in a convertible. That's the way to do it like they did in the old movies.

I had no idea what the "San Francisco Pride Parade" was about until I looked it up. They certainly have something to talk about when they go home.

Have fun and a safe ride too in that wonderful but wicked city.

It sounds like everybody is having a good time. I'm sure the parade must have been a fun thing to see, and touring around the city tonight also sounds great.

I picked Jim and his daughters up at 8:00Pm, drove around and looked at all of the beautiful Victorian houses and Coit tower among other sights...went out for hot chocolate and we didn't get back home until 1:00AM! We just had a great time last night and now Jim and his family are leaving for Australia today and we are wishing them a great and safe trip. They will be in Australia for two days and then off to Bali to their Summer home for six months....sounds wonderful to me...I wish I was going with them!
