October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Not sure where I SHOULD have put this but either way October is Breast Cancer Awareness month so please be aware, knowledge is power, feel those boobies ladies and MEN, yes Men do get breast cancer..and schedule that mammogram...early detection is key ladies and even that is hard.
I had my mammograms, and did self checks and still my cancer was stage 2, so that meant it had moved into lymph nodes...much better to hear stage 1 or 1 or none...

Spread the word THINK PINK and check em save the tatas!!!

This is a reminder for everybody, health is wealth. By now, most must have seen that football teams wear a variety of pink stuff during Oct. It is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the league supports the American Cancer Society. However, the [pink NFL jerseys] that supposedly benefit the ACS don't benefit it as much as people think.

I so agree not as much funds go to different societies as they should but either way the pink is a reminder for all of us to get that mammogram, check those boobies, remember those that have been lost, those who are fighting and the survivors who hope to stay survivors..

Cures for illnesses are wealth as well and drug companies and such would not benefit from a cure so realistically unless an individual finds a cure will we see it...who knows so we can try to find it early so treatment is more effective anyway..

Think PInk...for yourself and all those before you who lost the battle or live with the fear!!!
