The Mayan calender is showing an end to an age on 12, 21, 2012. The Mayan calender is also showing the start of a new age on 12,13,2012. Its not the calendar that has the predictions of whats to come. Its the predictions on the mayan codex that show the flooding in this current cycle and the prediction of something happening with the sun. This year the sun shifted magnetic poles.

The earth has lost some of its magnetic field and the north and south poles are moving at a greater pace every year.

So the mayan prediction of an earth change is valid because things are changing daily. The mayans predicted this but other ancient cultures like the Aborigines, Egyptians, Hopis, Apachees, Navajo, Cherokee, Irquios, Kabalist and other groups have similar senarios.

The Mayans also think a return of Kulkulkan is going to happen. Many of the above cultures are predicting a return of a diety.

Jewish , Orthodox, Christian and Muslim prophecies have a returning of Jesus.

Hindus say that we are now in an age that will turn into the "golden age" of enlightenment. This calender the Hindus use is a lunar type and their prediction is for "the clouds to pour rain unseasonably" kind of like the Mayans.

These are but a few cultures and religions that have a prediction of what the world will change to.

THEN, you have all of the other guys who predicted things to come like Nostodamus, Edgar Casey and many others including the computer codes suggesting events that will unfold that we won't enjoy.

Lastly, its the predictions about the middle east from the Bible in Revelations suggesting things most will not like.

Add in the crazy Arabs, Persians and Jews plus junior in North Korea plus the problems with world economys and its looking not so good, like shits about to hit the fan.
