  • Where Is Your Favorite Place On Earth?

There are so many beautiful places that I've yet to visit.....Waaay too many to mention. Lol. My wish list just keeps growing, and growing.

However, thinking back on where I've traveled so far, I'd have to say that The Amalfi Coast, and Positano in particular, is one of my favorite places on earth.....The food, the people, and the beautiful landscapes make it a top pick for me.

The French Countryside is another location that has stuck in my mind, and I look forward to revisiting. I haven't seen all that much of it, but I just loved the little of it that I was lucky enough to visit.

Another very memorable location for me was Bruges. I truly felt like I stepped back in time. I was just enchanted by the canals, and architecture of this beautiful medieval city.

I live near my favorite place, the "Sunset Coast" of western Michigan. When hubby got out of the Army, he said, "Where do you want to live," and I said, "close enough to St. Joseph, Michigan that we can drive the Blossom Trail in the spring, visit the beach in the summer, wander the parks in the fall, and shop there at Christmas." I love all of the Sunset Coast area, but St. Joe is my favorite.

My favorite place on earth? In the arms of my wife. Everything else pales. But I suppose I could say, in the arms of my wife listening the waves crash on the shores of Kaua'i.
“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

      “You shouldn't wear that body.”

For me, it would be either Prague or Dubrovnik.

My favorite place to be is in my home with my wife and family.

Favorite place to visit is Manhattan ( NYC ) followed by Waikiki.

Most spectacular scenery, Highway 12, Bryce NP, and Zion NP all in Utah.

Favorite large cities to live in are San Diego and San Jose CA. We lived in both for many years.

And last but not least, I love the California Coast. I have been up and down the Pacific Coast from Puerto Vallarta to Northern British Columbia several times by driving, train, and boat but my favorite part is Monterey/Carmel where our son and family live.

After saying all that stuff, I came to the conclusion that there are lots of places I really like.

You've got my attention with that photo of Bruges. Gorgeous!

It would be a stretch to say that someplace I've only been once is my favorite place on earth, but the favorite place I've visited was Botswana. There's just nothing like watching dozens, maybe hundreds, of elephants drink from the Chobe River. Lions walking through camp.

Of all the places I've been, it is the one place I long to return to. I can't wait until my kids are old enough to take them.

That area of the coast and the temperate rainforests in the West Coast states are the only places I really love that aren't a reasonable drive away. Not sure I'll get there again before hubby retires and/or we get down to traveling with only a couple of kids. So beautiful.

I haven't been to that area of Michigan, but you are very fortunate to be living so near your favorite place on earth.

Awwww, that's so sweet! Hawaii is on my list for sure, but I haven't gotten there yet....The long flight has so far kept me away. Looking at the pictures, I can certainly appreciate the beauty of the various Islands. Hopefully, one day I'll get there.

I love Manhattan, and what I've seen of the California Coast, too! Both are very special with unique qualities. In the states, they are two of my favorite locations.

                            Monterey-Carmel, California...

I had to take a peek at Botswana.....Everyone that I've ever spoken to that has been on a safari in Africa has loved it. I have a good friend who was there last year, and can't wait to go back. He told me that he's never been anywhere in the world quite like it. In addition to the animals, he also loved the sky, and the sunsets. Really cool!
