Does anyone know where I can get a pearl braclet restrung at a reasonable price? One quote that I have is $6 per inch. Is this a standard/reasonable price?

Picture please? Some pearl bracelets, if not sentimental, aren't worth restringing. Better to just use the pearls to lengthen a necklace.
Any competent jeweler who sells pearls can restring them, or knows someone who does. Double knotted on silk is standard, and competence is measured by the knot size and spacing.
As a point of reference, competent restringing of my wife's 18" vintage Mikimoto's cost around 300.00, including a gentle cleaning and appraisal.

For a 7" bracelet, $42 d/n seem bad if the pearls are decent and they are knotted. If I were into restringing pearls (I am not) I certainly wouldn't do it for much less. The $2 per inch on the site noted above is for restringing only. Knots are .25 per knot. I would guess that your pearls need both 'restringing' and 'handknotting,' putting your $6 quote closer to the ballpark assuming it includes knotting b/t each pearl. If there are no knots between the pearls (that would surprise me), then the $6 per inch is too high, it takes little time/effort to just restring them.
