I was just curious....Either way, it's fun to have so many weeks away to look forward to. If you find a place that you really like, and are able to book a number of consecutive weeks there, that's an ideal situation. I'd sure love to be able to do that over the winter months in NY. Maybe one of these days, I will.

then one week at Ocean Palms and then back to the same resort Enchanted Isle in different units for the last two weeks of August/Sept.
So unfortunately it's not all in the same place but then again I get to try out other resorts so maybe next year I'll book contiguous weeks when I see the bulks hit thanks to you.Angela

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Hopefully, in the summer, they will come home to Canada for a few weeks, so family and friends can meet her.

Still working on irenelf to join the party.
I live in a resort area so plan on spending most of the summer there on the beach.
I don't blame you Pat. I'd be doing the same thing.Angela

I've got back to back weeks at the Jersey shore from Memorial day thru July 8th. Most will be long weekends, with the exception of July 4th for my annual extended family get together.
Then I'm going to summer school for two weeks at NYU - yes, I'm geeky and still think school is fun!
Another week at the Jersey shore for my birthday mid-August, and then heading to Paris/Provence first week of September.

We prefer traveling off-season, so rarely go anywhere in the summer unless we're meeting family or something. I wanted to do Tennessee this spring, but when it got down to actually making the reservation, hubby stalled (his job has been up in the air for a while and I think he just didn't want to commit that far ahead), so we'll be sticking close to home. I sat down and listed all the stuff we're interested in within a couple of hours drive, and ended up with several weeks worth of things; now I just need to figure which to do! And we'll probably do a couple where we stay overnight -- we never got to Dayton last fall, so we'll definitely spend a weekend there once it gets warmer, probably early June after the ballet and Shakespeare play are done.
Right now I'm thinking we'll do a week-long Staycation while we hit at least one carousel every day. The pretty definite stuff includes a day in Chicago, likely the Navy Pier (Children's Museum, carousel, and stained glass museum). Another in Indianapolis; the younger kids and their dad at the Indianapolis Children's Museum and the older kids with me at the the Indianapolis Art Museum. The Albanese Candy Factory tour, where they make gummi bears, the two-story carousel out there, and likely some other stuff (Indiana Dunes, or the lighthouse museum or mansion in Michigan City, or the arboretum). And we'll hit the beach once if not more, of course.
Beyond those I'm not sure. Chicago's a no-brainer, while the other definite ones are stuff I've promised someone, but once I get past that I have endless possibilities that are all about equally appealing and can't make up my mind.

Flying from California to Atlanta to pick-up the grandaughter and then on to Florida for 2 weeks. Daughter and son n law will drive to Florida for a few days to spend with us. A week later in summer to relax at Angels Camp and then two weeks in different parts of New Mexico. Just retired and so all time seems like vacation time now.
BartI live to vacation and vacation to live.
